Rudy Giuliani is out of the ICU and will spend some time in the hospital recovering in the hospital, according to his spokesperson.

“The mayor and his family appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers sent his way,” Ted Goodman wrote in a social media post.

The former New York City mayor was being treated for pneumonia.

Goodman said Giuliani’s illness was complicated by restrictive airway disease, a condition he was diagnosed with after responding to the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001.

“The power of prayer is working. The mayor feels it. We feel it. Please keep them coming for America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani,” Goodman wrote.
