A man's body was pulled from the Bronx River inside the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, according to the NYPD.
Emergency personnel responded to a 911 call of a body in the water near Southern Boulevard and Xavier Way just before noon on Thursday.
Police say paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. He is possibly in his 30s, according to the NYPD.
The incident comes just one day after
another man's body was pulled from the water near Ferry Park Point in the Bronx.
Police say the identify of the man found in the NYBG is pending family notification.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine a cause and manner of death.
News 12 reached out to the NYBG for a statement and is awaiting a response.
