A 39-year-old woman was injured during a shooting outside of an East Tremont restaurant early Saturday morning.
Police say the victim was shot in the buttocks around 2:30 a.m. She was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.
Sources say the shots came from inside a black sedan that was driving by Garden Bar & Grill.
The car left after firing additional shots.
Residents in the area say this kind of behavior happens every week from bar goers on East Tremont Avenue. They say they fear for their safety late at night.
"God forbid, a stray bullet coming through your window of your son's room, you know," said one Schuylerville resident.
"I don't ever go out at night at all. I'm afraid to," said Virginia Strasser, of Schuylerville.
No arrests had been made as of Saturday evening.
