Firefighters say four people were injured, one seriously, in a Tuesday morning building fire in Mott Haven. According to the FDNY, first responders were dispatched to East 135th St. for a second-alarm fire at around 5:17 a.m. The fire was said to be on the first floor of the building. Two people have minor injuries and another has serious injuries, according to the FDNY. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
