  • The deep freeze continues today with wind chills in the teens. Slick and icy conditions remains a concern as temperatures stay below freezing. Relief from the brutal cold is on the way with a chance of rain and wind.
  • Winds are less harsh than yesterday morning but it's still frigid outside. Any untreated surfaces is still frozen. Take it slow and watch for black ice on the sidewalks, outdoor staircases, and ramps.
  • Today's high will be in the low-30s with plenty of sunshine and light winds. Wind chills remain in the 20s all day.
  • The ice and snow will begin to thaw tomorrow through the end of the week. Temperatures climb to the 40s and even 50s. This will be the first 50 degree day since Nov. 26.
  • A cold front will move into the city Thursday night into Friday morning bringing milder air, moderate rain and strong gusts. Temperatures will quickly plummet throughout the day on Friday with lows in the 20s by Saturday morning. Stay tuned for updates.
