The FDNY says one person is hospitalized after flames erupted in a building in Mott Haven.

Firefighters responded to a fire at 2592 3rd Ave. Minutes after 5 a.m. on Wednesday. The FDNY say the building has a grocery store on the first floor.

About 141 fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene.

First responders are still on scene.
