A man was stabbed multiple times while on board the D train in Fordham Monday afternoon.  

The stabbing happened just after 6:40 pm at the Fordham Road Subway station.  

When police responded to the scene, they found a 46-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest, neck and hand.  

 Police transported the man to St Barnabas Hospital where he is expected to recover.    

 There are no arrests at this time.
