Officers say they found a man’s body inside of a white van on Southern Boulevard, forcing them to close the street for several hours Monday night. Police say they were called to 1919 Southern Blvd. at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday. There they found an unconscious man inside of a white van that was parked in front of a barbershop. Paramedics later determined the unidentified man was dead. Investigators blocked the busy street full of several businesses for hours, canvassing the area for any clues that could help piece together what led up to the man’s death. Medical examiners are now working to determine the cause of death. Police have not made any arrests currently and the investigation continues.
