News 12 is profiling Arnie Newfield, a Holocaust survivor who now shares his story to educate others at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County in Glen Cove.
“I see many similarities between Fascist Germany and what’s going on in America today,” he says.
Newfield says he’s also very concerned for his six grandchildren.
He was born in a concentration camp and was only a toddler when the war ended.
Newfield says he was able to share stories from the Holocaust because his mother shared them with him when he was older.
