WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
THE HEAT AHEAD: Friday kicked off the first day of summer - and it came with continued high levels of heat.
Humidity continues to make temperatures feel even hotter than what they are. Temperatures are hot into Saturday, but potentially dangerous heading into Sunday through Wednesday when they could feel like the upper 90s and low 100s.
Please have a plan for how to stay cool, hydrated and safe during this extreme heat.
WEEKEND RAIN? There is a chance but it is on the low side.
A few rogue raindrops are possible for Saturday followed by the chance of some early Sunday showers. This, however, will not be a rainy weekend overall.
The borough will see plenty of sunshine and decent outdoor weather.
There have been, so far, 18 out of 24 weekends in 2025 that had rain, with eight consecutive weekends in a row with at least trace amounts of rain.
If there is rain this weekend, it will be 19 out of 25 weekends and the ninth weekend in a row with precipitation.
