Governor Kathy Hochul is heading into Tuesday’s primary election unopposed on the democratic ballot, after potential challengers either declined to run or ended their campaigns.

Hochul is seeking another term.

She is expected to face Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, who is running as a Republican.

A third candidate, Larry Sharpe, a former U.S. Marine, is running under the Libertarian Party.
