The family of Montrell Williams came together Wednesday night to honor the toddler at Garrison Park.
It was held at the same place where the search for him began earlier this week.
His aunt spoke about the intelligent boy they will always remember as smiling.
"This is hard, and I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ, forgive my nephew, who's done this to his own baby, and only God knows the answer to this, that he done this to tear our family apart," said Alicia Williams, the great aunt of Montrell.
News 12 is still waiting to hear from the medical examiner to confirm that the body found at Ferry's Point was
Montrell and if charges will be filed against the father.
