Police are searching for two men - one who they say slashed a man before the other struck him with a car in Concourse Village.
The NYPD says the violent incident started when the duo began yelling at the 28-year-old in front of 178 East 174th St. Police say it happened on July 5 around 7 a.m.
One attacker slashed the man in the right ear. Police say that as he attempted to escape, the other attacker struck him with his vehicle.
The victim went to BronxCare Health System, where he is expected to recover, according to the NYPD.
Police say the duo took off after the attack.
They provided images of both men - one of whom is seen wearing a white tank top and gray shorts. The other is pictured dressed in a white T-shirt and black pants.
