Police are looking for three teen boys who they say violently robbed a 28-year-old man of his cellphone in front of a deli in Tremont.

The trio approached the man just after 9 a.m. Wednesday near Big Chop Cheese Deli & Grocery, located at 1977 Hughes Ave.

Authorities say the teens beat the man, causing injuries to his hands, nose, wrist and throat, before getting away with his cellphone.

EMS took the 28-year-old to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is expected to recover.
