A former worker at a Somers nursing home has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct charges for an incident involving a 91-year-old patient.
The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office says 36-year-old Nashecka Moodie, of The Bronx, was accused of
hitting and spitting on the patient at Paramount Rehab and Nursing Facility last April.
Nursing home representatives say she was fired immediately afterwards.
Her sentence includes a one-year conditional discharge. She already completed anger management and 50 hours of community service, according to officials.
This was not the first time Paramount Rehab and Nursing Facility has faced controversy.
