The Bronx Summer Concert Series continued Sunday with live music, dancing and family fun at Van Cortlandt Park.

The concert series was organized by Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson in partnership with the Bronx Tourism Council, the Bronx Economic Development Corporation, as well as the Business Initiative Corporation of New York.

The series began in July and rotates throughout the borough to highlight different cultures and music.

“I love the music, and I’m pretty sure everybody else loves the music,” said Sonia Malave, director of special events for the Bronx borough president’s office. “It’s just about having fun and sharing with the community.”

“It’s wonderful,” said Eva Gali, of Kingsbridge. “We need this. We need to get away, get together and just enjoy the time.”
