A Bronx man who police say was involved in a fatal crash outside the Apollo Theater in Harlem is facing several charges.
Police said Kevin Crosby was speeding in a Hyundai Tucson on Thursday night in the bus lane on West 125th Street when he struck two men on e-bikes outside the Apollo Theater. One of the riders, 28-year-old Darly Zacarius of The Bronx, was killed.
After hitting the e-bike riders, the Hyundai continued forward and struck an unoccupied NYPD vehicle, which was pushed into a parked car with two people inside. The car then hit an unoccupied tractor-trailer. The second e-bike rider is at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, and two others were also treated there.
Kevin Crosby, 49, has been charged with manslaughter and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to the NYPD.
