A Bronx man is facing felony charges after police say he tried to use counterfeit $100 bills at a Home Depot in Westchester County.

Authorities say Justin Melendez allegedly attempted to pass the fake currency at the store.

Melendez is charged with five counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Police have not released additional details about the investigation.
