A Bronx activist is partnering with three local organizations to provide fresh produce for underserved communities on Friday.

The giveaway is taking place at the Third Avenue–149th Street subway station starting at 5 p.m.

Organizers say their goal is to provide fresh fruits and vegetables, prayer, and connections to those that need it.

The event will end when the food runs out.
