A bicyclist was struck by a car on the City Island Bridge.

Police say that the call came in around 9:15 a.m. for a vehicle collision on the City Island Bridge. Investigators found that a 39-year-old woman was driving on the bridge when her Honda SUV collided with a 57-year-old man on a bicycle.

Video taken of the scene shows a windshield smashed and a shoe on the hood. A bicycle is also seen on the other side of the street.

The bicyclist was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.
