2ds agoPolice say a 14-year-old boy has died after being stabbed at Williamsbridge Oval Playground.
The incident happened after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday when police say they responded to a 911 call for an ongoing assault at playground. They found a 14-year-old boy, identified as Angel Mendoza, with stab wounds all over the body. Police also found a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed in the abdomen and shoulder.
The 14-year-old was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where he was later pronounced dead by hospital staff. The 17-year-old boy was taken to Montefiore Medical Center and is now stable.
